Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Admissions & Enrollment
Yes! We have programs specifically for current students. Our SHS Tutoring & Support program is designed for students in Form 1–3 who need extra help with their current classes or want to prepare early for WASSCE. You do not need to be a graduate to join.
To enroll in the international track, you will need your official transcripts from your previous Junior High School (JHS) or Senior High School (SHS). We use these to calculate "transfer credits" so you don’t have to repeat classes you have already passed. You will also need a valid ID and a birth certificate.
No. While most of our remedial students are recent graduates (ages 16–20), we welcome adult learners who want to retake WASSCE or earn their diploma later in life. Our environment is supportive and respectful of all ages.
Yes, but it is better to decide early. We offer a "Dual-Track" option where you can do both simultaneously. If you start with WASSCE and decide to switch fully to the U.S. Diploma later, we will evaluate your progress to see how many credits transfer over.
No. This is a fully online (or hybrid) program. You can earn a valid, accredited U.S. High School Diploma from the comfort of your home in Ghana without the need for a student visa or travel.
Tuition & Fees
Tuition varies depending on whether you choose the full-year intensive package or specific subject packs. Please contact our Admissions Office for the most current fee schedule. We strive to keep our high-quality education affordable for Ghanaian families.
Generally, tuition covers instruction, mock exams, and academic skills workshops. Official external exam registration fees (such as the final WAEC registration fee, GED test fee, or SAT exam fee) are paid separately to the respective testing bodies, though we assist you with the registration process.
Yes! We offer a Sibling Discount. If you enroll two or more children from the same household, you receive a 10% discount on the tuition of the second child and any subsequent siblings.
No, the initial registration fee is non-refundable. This fee covers administrative costs, setting up your student file, and initial diagnostic testing.
Payments
Yes. We understand that paying a full year’s tuition upfront can be difficult. Educlive offers flexible "Pay-As-You-Learn" plans, allowing you to split your tuition into monthly or termly installments.
We accept a wide range of secure payment options including:
• Mobile Money: MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, and AirtelTigo.
• Bank Transfer: Direct deposit to our Ecobank account.
• Card Payments: Visa and Mastercard (online or at the office).
• International Apps: WorldRemit, Sendwave, Zelle, and Cash App (for sponsors abroad).
After making a payment (especially via MoMo or Bank Transfer), please take a screenshot or photo of the receipt and WhatsApp it to our Finance Team at 1(304)421-1962. We will update your student portal immediately.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available for students who demonstrate significant financial need or academic excellence. We also accept ESA (Education Savings Account) vouchers for eligible families and offer discounts for Veterans/Military families.
You must first apply for admission to Educlive. Once you have a student file, you can request a Financial Support Application from the admissions office. You will need to submit proof of income or academic transcripts depending on whether you are applying for a Need-Based Grant or a Merit Scholarship.
Most of our financial aid comes in the form of partial scholarships or grants (covering 20%–50% of tuition). Full scholarships are rare and highly competitive. However, our advisors will work with you to combine aid with payment plans to make enrollment possible.
